Super Cropping

a technique where branches are trained to grow horizontally, so that the primary top shoots are exposed to a greater amount of light. This is also called HST (“High Stress Training”), as you bend the branches hard so that their inner fibres break and the branch becomes limp and pliable without breaking. This is thought to activate the plant’s defence mechanisms, thereby producing more terpenes and absorbing nutrients more quickly.
