QUESTIONS ABOUT NORLAND ACCOUNT

Do I need to create an account to shop with you?

Answer: No, not at all. You can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, we recommend that you create an account so that we can better help you in the future with any inquiries and that you will from time to time receive special offers, free samples and other promotional material.

How do I log in?

A: At the top of the right side, there is an icon that you click on. You can also log in to the shopping cart before checking out.

I forgot my user details, what do I do?

Answer: Click on “Forgot your details” on the login page and you will be sent your details and a temporary password if necessary.

QUESTIONS ABOUT DELIVERY

Do you deliver to countries other than Denmark?

Answer: Yes. We deliver all over Europe, but we ask you to check for yourself whether cannabis seeds are legal in the country concerned. Delivery is completely discreet without company details or any declaration of the contents of the shipment.

How long is the delivery time?

Answer: Delivery time will typically be 2-4 business days if ordered before 3pm to Denmark (to Greenland and Faroe Islands a little longer). Delivery outside Denmark will typically take 5-7 business days. If we cannot meet the stated delivery time, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you a refund or a credit note.

How does my delivery arrive; what does the letter/package look like?

Answer: We place great emphasis on 100% discreet delivery and your shipment will arrive in a plain bubble envelope with no hint of the contents. Delivery is via Post Nord or DAO, and will in most cases be as a letter directly in your mailbox. If the order contains many or larger items such as creams/CBD oil/etc., where letter format is not possible or makes sense, it will be sent as a parcel.

PAYMENT ISSUE

Do you take my card type?

Answer: We accept all major card types, plus ViaBill.

How do I know if you have received my bank transfer?

Answer: You will receive an email as soon as we have registered your bank transfer. It typically takes 1-2 business days for this to happen.

What will my payment/account statement say?

Answer: Your payment will appear as to Nordland Seeds ApS.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

How to germinate/grow cannabis seeds?

Answer: We cannot provide this information, as the germination of cannabis seeds is illegal in Denmark and we therefore do not encourage lawbreaking. If you live in a country where sprouting is legal, there is ample opportunity to search for information on this at, for example. Youtube, or buy one of the many good books on the subject online.

What does the law say about cannabis seeds?

A: Cannabis seeds are fully legal in Denmark and the vast majority of the EU. We have written a detailed blog post on the legislation, which you can read here.

Are you a trustworthy company?

Answer: Yes, the obvious answer would be :-). We live in Denmark, and you can check us out in the CVR register. Furthermore, we have worked in the industry for many years and we have many customers who know us personally and can vouch for our credibility and professionalism.

Is it safe/secure to order cannabis seeds in Denmark?

Answer: This is a concern many people have, but you can safely buy and receive cannabis seeds in Denmark. It is legal to both buy and possess in Denmark and most EU countries. There is therefore no legal basis for checking or registering people who buy these goods. Cannabis seeds have no scent, so there is also no risk of the consignment being opened by the authorities by mistake. There are stories from the UK, Norway, Sweden and the US about the authorities registering customers, but here the situation is quite different from Denmark. We have extensive knowledge of the Danish market and developments here, and we have never heard testimony or rumors of it happening in Denmark before, and we can therefore to the best of our knowledge 100% guarantee that it is both safe and secure to order cannabis seeds in Denmark.

Why are cannabis seeds so expensive vs. other kinds of seeds?

Answer: As you know, quality costs money. We have chosen to carry only the best seeds, which means that they are not cheap. It takes many years to develop and stabilise cannabis varieties, and this is of course also linked to supply and demand. The most expensive seeds are also typically those with the most distinguished genetic origins. When it comes to cannabis seeds, genetics matter, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the highest price is the best genetics. There are plenty of seeds available at relatively cheap prices that are super good.

How long / how do I store my seeds?

Answer: If stored in a dark, cool and relatively airtight place, cannabis seeds can keep for at least 2 years. This period can be extended considerably if they are stored sealed and airtight at a constant temperature between 4-6 degrees Celsius.

I am looking for a specific variety that is not on the website, can you order it?

Answer: We probably can. Just let us know the name of the variety (and producer, if applicable) by e-mail, and we’ll look into the matter and get back to you with a non-binding offer.

Will cannabis seeds bought on this site germinate / how many will become female plants?

Answer: Germination of cannabis seeds is illegal in Denmark, but cannabis seeds purchased on our site are fresh and ready to germinate. If the process is carried out optimally, there is a germination rate of about 90%, but there are no guarantees as it is a natural product.
We can’t say anything about the gender of regular cannabis seeds, as there are many factors involved. Generally, it is said to be about evenly split, 50/50 male-female, but if they have optimal conditions, more females may appear.
The feminised cannabis seeds are bred to make 99.9% females, but if they are exposed to very stressful conditions, it can cause some plants to become hermaphrodites or males.
