Shake

when the trichomes/crystals from the plant material are separated from here so that they are in dry powder form, it is called shaking. It can be smoked alone or added to a smoke mix. If compressed, it becomes hash. The reason it is called shake is that it is often made by placing the dry top shoots on a fine-mesh sieve and being worked through it/shaken off. The material under the sieve consists of the trichomes/crystals, i.e. the “shake”. It is a very pure form of cannabis extraction with no trace of solvents, and is consequently very potent and highly sought after.
