Kelvin

Kelvin is what is used when measuring the colour temperature of light sources. Colour temperatures below 3000 Kelvin are what are called warm colours and are usually reddish or yellowish (best in the flowering phase). When you get above 5000 Kelvin, it is called cold colours, and these colours are more bluish (best in the vegetative phase).
