Cannabis Cup

a competition held at cannabis fairs and festivals where a panel of judges rate different strains and award points. There are often several categories such as “best indoor”, “best Indica”, “most potent” etc. The most famous and oldest Cannabis Cup is the “High Times Cannabis Cup”, which was held for the first time in 1988 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Winning a Cannabis Cup is associated with a lot of attention and respect, and seed growers and producers therefore submit their breeding work in the hope of winning one of these prestigious awards.
