Power Plant – Trace Power Flower South African Genetics

To know the history of Power Flower, you need to know about Power Plant. It all started back in the 90s when some Dutch growers visited South Africa. Here they noticed some very tall local sativa plants.

They pocketed some seeds and went home, whereupon they began breeding a more potent and fertile variety. And so the Power Plant was born. This strain became a 90s classic, especially in Amsterdam, but at Royal Queen Seeds we knew much more could be done.

After thorough cultivation and testing, RQS created a beautiful and potent sativa known as Power Flower.

Good yields and fast flowering

Power Plant is the original high-yield commercial crop and we are proud to say that Power Flower continues this legacy. Growers can expect anywhere from 500-550 grams/plant outdoors and 500-550 grams/m2 indoors under a 600W light.

In addition, this plant is ready to harvest after just 9-10 weeks of flowering, which is a relatively short time for a sativa. She does not require extensive care, making her an obvious option for both commercial growers and sativa beginners. With a lot of light, the branches will be filled with soft green balls. Power Flower is suitable for both SOG and ScrOG setups.

Power Flower offers the smoker a sweet and sour note of citrus and with traces of fresh pine. But it’s not just the aroma that’s exhilarating: users will experience a refreshing sensation with a smooth yet energetic high.
