A good rule of thumb is that varieties containing large amounts of Skunk genetics have an incredibly strong scent. It is always a good idea to oversize your carbon filter in relation to the extraction capacity (our recommendation is min. 20%m3/t extra). However, when growing indoors close to neighbours, with these varieties – even with a carbon filter buffer of 20% – there is a risk that it is not quite enough; typically in the last 2 weeks of flowering. It may therefore be necessary to use fragrance-reducing products, such as
-gel or blocks, to take the last.
