Amnesia Haze, bred in the Netherlands in the 1990s by Hy-Pro Seeds under the name “Amnesia”, has a lot of other names. Whether you know her as the original Amnesia, Amnesia Haze, Champagne Haze, The Bomb, Ultra Haze, or a completely different name, we can all agree on the obvious potency of this Sativa-dominated strain.

The only negative of a Sativa, as Amnesia is, may be that they take longer to flower – around 11 – 12 weeks on average. However, experience shows that some phenotypes have only finished flowering after as long as 20 weeks! This is simply too long for a home grower. In addition, she can grow quite tall, which is another problem that indoor growers in particular are not able to handle. That’s why we developed the Amnesia Haze Automatic, the solution to these problems. Our version offers the same euphoric high and spicy sweet taste as the original Amnesia, but with a significantly shorter grow time and lower altitude. This way, both beginners and more experienced growers can get started with this auto-flowering variety without any problems.

The largest automatic flowering variety?

Indoors she will mature from seed to flower in about 80-85 days. During this time she can grow quite large for an automatic flowering variety with a height of between 50-100cm. This is a clear sign of her Sativa genetics – tall plants with large, thin leaves, and long flowers.

Very similar to the original Amnesia, Amnesia Haze Automatic grows vigorously and offers a large yield of high quality misty flowers. Yields can reach 180 grams/plant outdoors, but will be as high as 400 grams/m2 indoors. She is thus one of the automatic flowering varieties with a higher yield than normal. Amnesia Haze Automatic likes to be well nourished, but it’s important not to give her too much of a good thing, as Haze varieties are often sensitive to nutrients.

Amnesia Haze Automatic has a long, foxtail-like flower that emits an earthy, citrusy aroma that only gets better once the flower has matured. All in all, she has the classic aroma, taste and effect of Amnesia, but now a much more realistic project for the average home grower.
