grinder specifically designed for grinding top shoots before smoking in, for example, a joint. Some grinders also have a smaller chamber with a filter at the bottom. Gradually, as the grinder is used, a small amount of crystals, called kief, is collected. This is very potent and can be smoked separately or used to make an extra good smoking blend.
